The Museum of Bryansk Philantropists was founded in 2012. It includes 4 halls: the history of patronage, the Tenishevsky hall, the hall of Maltsevy, and the hall of Russian folk crafts. The Museum exhibits rare items from the late 19th and early 20th centuries related to the lives of famous patrons such as the Maltsevy, the Gubonivy, the Tenishevy, the Mogilevtsevy and their decendents.

The museum includes a library and a media library.

At present, the museum’s collection includes more than 1,000 exhibits. Among them there are 200 rare items. The collection includes antique furniture, clocks and books, stock certificates for factories from the Bryansk region, as well as household items from the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Halls of the Museum display the busts of Pavel and Semyon Mogilevtsevy, Maria and Vyacheslav Tenishevy, Petr Gubonin and Sergey Maltsev. The Museum includes originals and copies of historical photographs, paintings by famous artists, copies of archive documents and much more. The Museum has a wide collection of items produced by the Dyatkov factory of the Maltsevy during the second half of the 19th century.
