On August 30, 2020, the legend of world animation Leonid Aronovich Shvartsman, the author of legendary cartoons such as Cheburashka, Crocodile Gena, Shapoklyak, Kitten named Woof, Snow Queen, Scarlet flower, Golden antelope, 38 parrots , Mitten ,Caution, monkeys! and many others will be celebrating his 100-year anniversary.
For the period of the festival, the Kremlin in Izmailovo will turn into a cartoon city:
For the first time in the world, a folk video will be created for one of the songs of the legendary cartoons, which will later be shown on one of the central television channels.
Festival guests:
– will become spectators of retrospective shows of cartoons filmed by children: winners and Grand Prix winners of various children’s festivals;
– will take part in an adventure game;
– will sing in cartoon karaoke with famous artists and finalists of the show Voice – Children project;
– under the guidance of a fashion designer, they will be able to “concoct” Gena Crocodile’s coat, the Snow Queen’s crown or a general’s vest of a parrot from their old things.
The school of make-up and visage on the basis of the Mosfilm film concern Estel Shine will show the skill of transforming into the Snow Queen or Nastenka from the Scarlet Flower.
Anyone can show their creativity, paint huge installations in the form of figures of cartoon characters and leave their autograph.
The Moscow Association of Culinary Experts will hold a contest Sweet Cartoon Joy among students of culinary universities and vocational schools, who will present culinary works based on the famous cartoons of the hero of the day. The winner of the competition will receive an original drawing for one of the cartoons, created by the great master of Russian animation, and in turn will present his “masterpiece” to the hero of the day.
