The project “Museum Routes of Russia” of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation aims to develop and promote Russian museums and cultural tourism. The project launched this April in Kaluga at the Konstantin E. Tsiolkovsky State Museum of the History of Cosmonautics. The project holds on-site presentations, exhibitions, expertise and methodology workshops.
Three private museums, members of the Association of Private Museums of Russia, attended the session in Petrozavodsk:
– The Golden Creek History and Ethnography Museum — A Karelian Merchant’s Shop (Petrozavodsk)
– Industrial History Museum (Petrozavodsk)
– Bastion Park (Sortavala).
