The Director of the Association of the Private Museums of Russia visited an unusual private museum – St Petersburg Medicine and Pharmacy History Museum during his business trip to St. Petersburg.
The Museum exposes collections of ancient instruments and devices used in medicine, pharmacy, and related fields of science in the past centuries, as well as authentic unique exhibits of the XVII – XX centuries (some of them date back to an earlier period) from Europe, South and North America, the East and the Russian Empire.
The Museum organized a special tour for a group of employees of the Association and a meeting with the founder and head of the Museum Mikhail Sokolov, who presented the history of this unique museum, its first exhibits and current activities.
