The famous opera singer of the Bolshoi Theater performed in the village of Vyatskoye

The role of Tsar Boris in his performance sounded in the most famous theaters and operas of the world. Now the bass athlete sounded in the most beautiful village of the country – Vyatskoye. The performance of the opera singer Vladimir Matorin is the first event in the framework of the signed Memorandum of cooperation between the region’s private museum complex and the Bolshoi Theater.

And also “Black Eyes”, “Along the Piterskaya street”, “From behind the island into the deep stream.” The legendary soloist of the Bolshoi performs the famous romances not in the usual setting, but in the most beautiful village of the country.

– It is a long-standing dream that the Bolshoi Theater will also be engaged in the promotion of art, will also go to the people, because it is expensive to come to Moscow, and the tickets are expensive, and not everyone loves opera. This means that I am at the head of the concert team, which, as I understand it, if we are liked, will perform all the time, periodically in different, so to speak, incarnations, because there are quartets, a choir, and soloists, that is, you can diversify the program as you like – said the opera singer, soloist of the Bolshoi Theater, People’s Artist of the Russian Federation Vladimir Matorin.

Concert of Vladimir Matorin – opens a series of cultural cooperation events.

– It is very significant that we start with the foundations of the Bolshoi Theater in cooperation with Vyatskoye. And I want to say that we didn’t have any kind of negotiations with the Vyatskoye HCC, because we understood each other very quickly.I think this was the key to such a quick transition from words to deeds. We have a lot of interesting things ahead, – said Ivan Semirechensky, assistant director general of the Bolshoi Theater.

And for the future an exchange of museum exhibits, creative meetings of prominent performers and musicians, training programs and master classes are planned.

– We always worry when such celebrities come to us, and we have to adapt with them to the new interior, new equipment, and make adjustments. Each has individual requirements,  this is all very reverent, exciting, but very pleasant and responsible, – said the general director of the Vyatskoye historical and cultural complex named after E.A. Ankudinova Elena Shakhova.

The next joint project is an exhibition dedicated to the 180th birthday of Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, which will present photographs, rare posters, sketches of costumes and sets from the operas Evgeniy Onegin and The Queen of Spades, ballets Swan Lake, The Nutcracker  and The Sleeping Beauty.

– Culture should not concentrate in the capital, but still be accessible and understandable, and in demand in all regions. And the fact that the Bolshoi Theater came to us, we even have such a serious name on the poster: “Bolshoi invites to Vyatskoye, – said Yuri Itin, doctor of pedagogical sciences, professor.

The Bolshoi Theater has signed many memoranda, mostly foreign. The historical and cultural complex was an exception. Yaroslavl village was interesting in its openness, hospitality and warm audience. This means that meetings with the Bolshoi Theater will be regular for residents of our region and guests from neighboring regions
