Integral Museum-Apartment of Daily Life of the Akademgorodok is a is a private museum of “living” history, operating since May 2014 in the very center of the famous Novosibirsk region and describing the first years of the existence of this academic town. The exposition was based on unique documents and artifacts of famous scientists, as well as the archives of the legendary youth club “Under the Integral” during the Thaw years, whose motto was the slogan “People, integrate!”.
The peculiarity of the museum is that all exhibits can be touched and tested in action. The interior is decorated in the style of the 60s, and the exhibits are not stored under glass, but form part of life and are used in everyday life by the authors of this project, Anastasia Bliznyuk and Alexander Stepanov. These people not only do tours in the museum, hold historical evenings, organize concerts and “kvartirniki” (house concerts), organize photo shoots and make films, but they also live in this unique atmosphere.
