The Register of Private Museums: Alexey Shaburov commented on Radio Russia

On July 24, 2020, Alexey Shaburov, Director of the Association of Private Museums of Russia and Director of the World Calligraphy Museum, took part in the Different Times program on Radio Russia. The broadcast was dedicated to the Register of Private Museums, the formation of which the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation is currently working on together with the Association of Private Museums of Russia.

In an interview with presenters Alexander Khaburgaev and Anna Dvoretskaya, Alexey Shaburov explained which non-state institutions can call themselves museums from the point of view of Federal Law No. 54-FZ, which of them will be included in the register, and how innovations will benefit them.

The talk was preceded by a report from the Museum of Blacksmithing in Tyumen, by correspondents Igor Emelyanov and Igor Lebedev.

According to Shaburov, entry into the register will allow private museums to become participants in regional and federal promotion programs in the media and to receive free consulting assistance on various aspects of museum activities.
